The gamechickens have money, but very little winning to show for it


they had an impressive run with Spurrier, but it really was the perfect storm if you consider all of these things that happened at once:

1. UGa was down
2. Florida was down
3. UT was down
4. They had a Hall of Fame coach
5. #s 1, 2 and 3 make it easier to recruit
6. They had the best college DE of this generation (and possibly a few to come).
7. They had an incredible RB (Lattimore) that is probably the best they've ever had.

It was an impressive run to be sure and 5 straight losses to them was excruciating. Here's hoping that we don't have a storm like that for another lifetime or two.
